The dashboard is the first screen after sign in. It summarizes outstanding and collected revenue, surfaces the work that needs attention today, and gives one-click shortcuts to common actions.

KPI tiles and cash flow

Three figures sit across the top: Outstanding, Collected, and a six-month Cash Flow chart. They are calculated from your invoices, not entered manually.

  1. Read Outstanding for the total unpaid balance across all sent invoices, including pending, partially paid, and overdue.
  2. Read Collected for all-time paid revenue across every invoice.
  3. Use the Cash Flow card to see paid revenue grouped by month for the last six months.
  4. Hover a point on the chart to read the exact amount for that month.

02

Today Focus agenda

The Today Focus card builds one ranked list from overdue invoices, sent proposals awaiting a response, and active tasks. Each row has a primary action.

  1. Review the agenda rows from most to least urgent.
  2. Use Send Reminder on an overdue invoice, Mark Accepted on a proposal, or Mark Done on a task.
  3. Click a row to open the related invoice, proposal, or project.
  4. Use the X on a row to hide it from the agenda, and the restore link to bring hidden items back.

03

Quick actions and schedule

Four quick action tiles open the create flows for invoices, projects, time entries, and clients. A Today Schedule card appears only when Google Calendar is connected.

  1. Use New Invoice, New Project, Log Time, or Add Client to start a record without leaving the dashboard.
  2. Connect Google Calendar in Settings to show the next 24 hours of events.
  3. Use the refresh control on the schedule card to pull the latest events.

04

Track time from the dashboard

The dashboard has its own timer control next to a Time today figure, so you can start and stop tracking without opening the Time tab.

  1. Click START TIMER, enter what you are working on, and pick a project.
  2. The running timer shows in the header with a live clock while you work.
  3. Click STOP TIMER to save the entry to your timesheet as Unbilled.
  4. Click the Time today figure to jump to the Time tab for details.

05

Upcoming recurring revenue

The Upcoming Recurring Revenue card lists the next active recurring invoice templates, so you can see expected retainer income at a glance.

  1. Review the next five scheduled templates and their expected amounts.
  2. Read the timing label such as Today, Tomorrow, In 5d, or a specific date.
  3. See whether each template is set to auto-send or save as a draft.

Notes

The agenda picks up to ten items using a quota of three overdue invoices, two proposals, and five tasks, then backfills remaining slots by urgency.
