Payment gateways

Connect a payment gateway.

ClientDeck supports bring-your-own payment keys so clients can pay invoices online. Connect Razorpay, PayPal, or Stripe from Settings.

Updated August 2026

01

Pick a gateway

Which gateways you can connect depends on your plan. Each one accepts the payment methods its provider supports.

  1. Razorpay accepts cards, UPI, and net banking.
  2. PayPal accepts PayPal balances and Pay Later.
  3. Stripe accepts global cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH.
  4. Free workspaces do not include payment gateways; Plus and Pro do.

02

Connect your keys

Open Settings, then Integrations, find Payment Gateways, and paste the keys from your payment provider account. Keys are stored securely and never shown back to you after saving.

  1. Open Settings and go to the Integrations tab.
  2. Select Razorpay, PayPal, or Stripe.
  3. Paste your public key (or Key ID / Client ID) and secret key.
  4. Add a webhook secret if required and an optional label.
  5. Click Validate & Save to test and store the connection.

03

Enable a gateway

Connected gateways can be Enabled to accept client payments, Disabled to stop new payments while keeping the keys, or Disconnected to remove them.

  1. Enable the gateway so invoices can accept online payment.
  2. Disable a gateway to pause payments without removing the keys.
  3. Disconnect to remove the keys from your workspace entirely.

04

How clients pay

With a gateway enabled, invoices gain a pay option and you can copy a payment link to share anywhere.

  1. Open an invoice and choose Copy Payment Link.
  2. Send the link to the client by email, chat, or portal message.
  3. Track the payment and the invoice status back in the Invoices workspace.

Notes

Payment gateways use bring-your-own keys: you create the account and paste your own credentials. Use test keys (for example rzp_test_... or pk_test_...) while testing. Razorpay and PayPal require Plus; Stripe requires Pro.
