Client portals

Share a branded client portal.

Portals give clients a focused place to see shared work, project context, reports, files, invoices, proposals, and updates.

Updated May 2026

01

Create the portal

A portal is connected to a client and pulls together the client-facing parts of the workspace.

  1. Open the client or portal workspace.
  2. Create or select the portal for the relevant client.
  3. Confirm the client, project context, files, reports, invoices, and proposals you want visible.

02

Brand the experience

Portal branding uses your workspace logo, color, and cover treatment so the client-facing page does not feel generic.

  1. Use the workspace brand color for the portal accent system.
  2. Choose a preset cover treatment or upload a custom cover image.
  3. Preview the portal before sending it externally.

03

Send the portal link

ClientDeck includes an email sharing flow so you can send the portal without manually composing every detail from scratch.

  1. Open the portal email modal.
  2. Enter the client recipient email.
  3. Review the subject and message.
  4. Send the email with the portal link included automatically.

04

Review proposals from the portal

Client-facing proposal review can happen from the portal, with support for viewing, signing, and decline confirmation flows.

  1. Open the proposal from the portal view.
  2. Review the proposal content and current state.
  3. Use the sign or decline flow when the client is ready to respond.

Notes

Portal previews temporarily adjust the browser title and favicon, then restore them when you leave the portal view.
