Projects

Track project delivery.

The Projects tab is the pipeline of work in progress. Each project belongs to one client and carries a status, budget, hourly rate, deadline, and progress, plus a task board.

01

Create a project

Use New Project to create a record. A project must have a name and an assigned client.

  1. Open the Projects tab and click New Project.
  2. Enter a project name and select the client it belongs to.
  3. Set a budget and an hourly rate in your workspace currency if you bill by time.
  4. Set a deadline date, then click Save Project.

02

Browse the pipeline

The pipeline shows KPI tiles for active, overdue, due this week, and active budget. You can filter by status and switch between list and board layouts.

  1. Use the status filter pills to narrow the list.
  2. Switch between List and Board with the view toggle.
  3. In list view, use the sort control to order by date, budget, or deadline.
  4. Use the edit control on a row to change project details.

03

Work inside a project

The project detail page has a four-column task board, a Client Updates card, and a financial summary covering budget, billable value, unbilled total, and collected revenue.

  1. Open a project to see its task board across To Do, In Progress, In Review, and Done.
  2. Click Add Task to add work to the board.
  3. Drag a task card between columns to change its status.
  4. Review the financial summary for budget and unbilled totals.

Notes

Project progress is calculated from task status, with In Progress, In Review, and Done tasks each contributing weighted credit. A project with no tasks falls back to a stored value.
