Password reset

Reset your account password.

ClientDeck sends a secure email link to set a new password. You can request it from the sign-in screen or from the Security tab while signed in.

Request a reset from sign-in

If you cannot sign in, use the Forgot password link on the login screen to receive a reset email.

  1. Open the ClientDeck sign-in screen.
  2. Click Forgot password next to the password field.
  3. Enter the email associated with your account.
  4. Click Send reset link and check your inbox.

Request a reset while signed in

You can also trigger a reset email from the Security and Account section of Settings.

  1. Open Settings and go to the Security tab.
  2. Find the Change Password row.
  3. Click Send Reset Email to email a secure link to your account address.
  4. Open the link from your inbox to continue.

Set the new password

Opening the reset link puts ClientDeck into a set-new-password mode where you enter and confirm your password.

  1. Enter a password of at least eight characters.
  2. Include at least one lowercase letter, one uppercase letter, and one number.
  3. Re-enter the same password in the confirmation field.
  4. Submit the form, then sign in again with the new password.

Notes

After you set a new password ClientDeck signs you out of the temporary recovery session, so you land on the login screen and authenticate fresh.
