Account deletion

Delete a workspace or account.

The Security tab has a Danger Zone with two permanent actions: deleting your workspace data and deleting your entire account. Both cannot be undone.

Updated May 2026

01

Delete your workspace

Deleting the workspace permanently removes all workspace data but keeps your account active so you can start fresh.

  1. Open Settings and go to the Security tab.
  2. In the Danger Zone, click Delete Workspace.
  3. Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
  4. Confirm to remove clients, projects, invoices, proposals, reports, portals, files, and team members.

02

Delete your account

Deleting the account removes all your data and your login credentials, so you cannot sign back in afterward.

  1. Open the Security tab and find the Delete Account row in the Danger Zone.
  2. Click Delete Account to open the confirmation modal.
  3. Type DELETE MY ACCOUNT exactly to enable the confirm button.
  4. Click Permanently Delete Account to remove your data and credentials.

03

Know who can run these actions

Both deletions are destructive and are limited to roles that hold delete permission.

  1. Run these actions as the Owner or an Admin only.
  2. Note that Editor and Viewer roles see the buttons disabled.
  3. Export or back up anything you need before confirming.
  4. Expect to be signed out immediately after an account deletion completes.

Notes

Workspace deletion leaves your account intact, while account deletion is final and permanently blocks any future sign-in.
