Notifications

Control how ClientDeck alerts you.

ClientDeck shows in-app activity in the notifications menu and lets you choose which events should reach you from the Notifications tab in Settings.

Read the notifications menu

The bell icon in the header lists recent workspace activity, including paid invoices, overdue invoices, accepted or declined proposals, and portal opens.

  1. Click the bell icon in the header to open the notifications menu.
  2. Scan the list, which shows the most recent activity first.
  3. Use Mark all read to clear the unread count.
  4. Reopen the menu later to see new activity as it appears.

Set notification preferences

The Notifications tab in Settings controls which events alert you. Each preference is a simple on or off toggle.

  1. Open Settings and go to the Notifications tab.
  2. Toggle Invoice Payments to control alerts when a client pays an invoice.
  3. Toggle Portal Activity to control alerts when a client opens their portal.
  4. Toggle Proposal Signatures to control alerts when a proposal is approved.

Digest and product updates

Two extra preferences control summary and product emails, separate from per-event alerts.

  1. Turn on Daily Digest for a morning summary of overdue tasks and pending invoices.
  2. Turn on Product Updates to receive occasional emails about new ClientDeck features.
  3. Leave either off if you do not want those emails.
  4. Note that changes save as soon as you flip a toggle.

Notes

Viewers cannot change notification preferences, since the toggles are disabled for read-only roles.
